Trisal, S.A. was established in 1959 in Terrassa (Barcelona) as a pioneer in Spain in the production, processing and marketing in the sector of saline solutions for industry ,like the textile sector , water treatment and particularly destined to the foodstuff sector, where the measurement advantages of this liquid product are increasing appreciated. We are the industry leaders in this market segment in Spain. Over the years, we have invested heavily in research and development of salt and in the global salt market.
With is totally automated facilities of 12.000 square metres in Terrassa with a workforce of 50, and our own research and development department and our own fleet of trucks.
Trisal S.A. has another plant in Valencia (Pais Valencià, Spain) which is 5.000 m2. To cover all the Levante area Our abroad experience and in-depth product knowledge enable us to satisfy the most demanding quality requirements and customer service in the professional manner that you deserve.
However Trisal´s business does not end with saline industry. The company has a second large product line : blocks of mineralised salts as a foodstuff complement for animals. Commercialised under the brand of Sal Cupido , these have enabled Trisal to take an important step ahead in internationalising its activities.
Intended fundamentally for livestock -cattle, sheep and horses - and prepared according to the foodstuff requirements of each country , the firm's production of mineralised salt licks is commercialised on the foreign markets almost over the world.
As a result , the future of this family business which has just celebrated its 40th anniversary and is now in its second generation , seems promising . It is , at all times , based on novelty products which are highly desirable to its clients.
